Review
A great location for getting those hill runs in and building endurance and strength. There is a car park located out the back and to the north of Wanda surf club ideally situated with an exercise gym set (chin-up bar, sit-up bench etc) and water bubbler near by. Any hill work should be done after a decent warm up to avoid injuries and tears so I have mapped in a 4km warm up out along the access track to the sand mine and back before hitting the sand dunes. As a part 2 to this I’ll map out the Honeymoon track and Audley for some more Shire hill training. Enjoy.
