One of the first things that struck me on or drive (transfer) out to Denarau Island and our fenced off paradise was the number of people hanging around on the side of the road doing not much and the 6 foot high, 3 strand barb wire fence around nearly every house along the road.

I thought for a while last night that my record may have been broken (excuse the pun) but alas it still stands. After sitting in the emergency department of Sutherland hospital for 5 hours until 2:30am in the morning it turned out that it wasn’t broken after all, that I had done some soft tissue damage to my elbow.

Once inside we dived off the cave wall and into the crystal clear water below, coming back up for air and to retrieve our mask and snorkels. Once in the water there was very few places to stand if any, which equalled a lot of dog paddling.

Most people that know me could tell you that I am a gadget nut. So when I finally got around to buying a new computer last Christmas I opted for the dual output graphics card. One thing that bugged me was that you couldn’t have different or joining wallpapers between the monitors natively with Vista.
