Next Race – Kathmandu Adventure Race
Looking around for the next race/event I came across the Maximum Adventure website through the Coolrunnings forum and noticed a race happening locally. Looking like a bit of fun and properly just out of my fitness level at the moment I thought it would be worth a go. Hopefully we should have some home court advantage given that the event is practically in my back yard. Excellent (my best evil Mr Burns voice). The race is a multi stage team event, incorporating multiple runs (5-10km’s), MTB (20-30kms) and Kayaking (3-5kms) sections. The entry fee is $85 for the day but considering that includes the use of a kayak and lunch, it isn’t to bad in my opinion. Brendan and Myself have teamed up and I am trying to convince Dans to enter, if he can man it up
. So I better not let the training fall away or I’ll be in big trouble.
