Let The Mo Run Free
The Mo is like a wild beast that has been locked up in a cage for to long. It just wants to run free in the wild.
Movember (the month formal known as November) is not just about growing a cheesy mo, though that is cool to. It is also about raising awareness of men’s health issues, depression. While at the same time financially supporting the fight against depression and prostate cancer through beyondblue (the national depression initiative) and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
Did you know:
- Depression affects 1 in 6 men….most don’t seek help. Untreated depression is a leading risk factor for suicide.
- Last year in Australia 18,700 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 2,900 died of prostate cancer – equivalent to the number of women who will die from breast cancer annually.
